About
In 2017, I made the decision to leave my burgeoning career in the hotel industry in search of new income streams. The inflation in my country, Venezuela, made it impossible for me to sustain myself even with a manager's salary at one of the largest five-star hotels in the country.I began working remotely as a WordPress web designer and virtual assistant. I had several clients: a handyman agency in California, a writer from Toronto, an international insurance company, and several 7-figure eCommerce stores. Working as a virtual assistant taught me many things: creating automations, email marketing, paid advertising, product research, dealing with suppliers, financial analysis, and more.In early 2018, I joined iWorker, a social enterprise focused on creating sustainable employment opportunities for people in crisis-stricken countries, particularly Venezuela. When I came aboard, they were just starting out with fewer than 10 remote workers. I began recruiting English speakers in Venezuela, and within a year, we had over 200 workers on the platform. iWorker quickly became my favorite project because it made me feel like we were doing something significant for my home country and others facing similar situations. I stopped everything else I was doing to focus on iWorker, and boy, did we grow.By 2023, I found myself missing PPC and Meta Ads, so I started projects like a boutique digital marketing agency and various eCommerce ventures. Currently, I'm in the process of defining my YouTube channel, as I have so many stories to share that I don't know where to begin.I hold a university degree in Public Accounting and a master's degree in Marketing, Analytics, and UX. I am based in Mendoza, Argentina.
